Gabriel Salcedo Sansn

Superficies

for four intruments

(2013)

Indications

General

The arrow indicate a succession of sonic events for example, the triggering event must happen before
the events reached by the arrow. I am not looking for presicion in the beat.
Clarinet

This is the notation for air through the instrument.

This is the notation for slap.

Piano

This is the notation for an irregular tremolo on the harp. I am not looking for specific notes but any
note that are on that octave.
There are three different kind of attacks: striking the string with a soft mallet or with the bare hands,
scatching the string with the nail or a card and rubbing perpendicularly to the strings.
The arrow define the leght and the line where the technique ends.
Guitar

With this notation the performed has to do a scratch on the string. It can be with the fingernail or with a
pick. The lenght is of the nota that presented it.

Same as above but with a tremolo on the string.

Notation for a muted sound. It is a dry attack more like a percussion. No defined notes.

Violin

Notation for toneless. This technique is on the bridge of the intrument.

Notation for muted notes with the left hand on the strings and fingerboard.
