ABSTRACT The Earth's magnetic field is the magnetic field that extends from the inner core of the Earth to the limit at which it meets the solar wind; a stream of energetic particles emanating from the Sun. It is magnitude on the surface of the Earth varies from 25 to 65 T (microTesla). The Earth has a significant magnetic field. It is important mainly as protection, but also for the role that the magnetic compass in the exploration of the planet. The field lines which define the structure of the magnetic field are similar to those of a simple bar magnet. The main objective of this report is to determine the value of the Earth's magnetic field.
