A COSC453 Latex Template

Introduction

This document provides a very simple LATEXtemplate for COSC453 students. Students should be able to copy this document and modify it for their next assignment.
The structure of this document is as follows: Section 2 shows an example of an
equation in LATEX, Section 3 shows how figures can be included, and Section 4
shows how to cite other articles.

An Equation

Equations are extremely easy to do in LATEX. They can either be numbered standalone equations such as:
E = mc2 .
(1)
Or one can even insert equations into the text. For example, where c = 2.

Some Figures

Figures can be included very easily. Either single figures as shown in Figure 1, or
subfigures as in 2. Note that these figures are typically floating figures, that is, they
are automatically placed by LATEX.

Citations

Citations are extremely easy [2]. You can also do multiple citations in one cite
command [3, 1].
