2016 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Basic Requirements:

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a graduate of Fredericksburg High School (FHS), have a
strong desire to obtain a college education and have demonstrated academic ability. Financial need is the
primary consideration in these awards.
If you are graduating from FHS in 2016, send us two letters of recommendation from FHS teachers or staff
members. If you are not a current graduate, you may send two letters of recommendation from college
professors, staff members or employers who know you.
Applications must be returned by Monday, May 2, 2016. You may return your application in any of the
following ways: It may be mailed to Fredericksburg Academic Boosters, PO Box 1171, Fredericksburg, TX
78624; it may be dropped by the Counselor's office at FHS or taken to the law offices of Bryla & Schoessow,
105 W. San Antonio, Fredericksburg. If you have questions, please call our office at 990-4595.

Successful applicants may be interviewed by the Scholarship Committee. In applying for this scholarship, I
am aware that I must maintain above average grades (at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale), be considered a full-time
student by the college or university I am attending (minimum of 12 semester hours) and demonstrate
acceptable standards of citizenship and character.
I also agree to permit review of this application and my records by anyone representing Fredericksburg
