The world's first electric subsea production system

OneSubsea pioneered the development of electric subsea technology, creating the first electric subsea production
system, which has been operating in the North Sea since 2008. The second generation All-Electric System
represents state-of-the-art technology based on experience gained and lessons learned from the pilot system. It
includes further simplification of the system architecture and implementation of fiber-optic communication, while
maintaining commercial feasibility and increased flexibility. This second generation system delivers the same core
benefits as its predecessor, and more.
