1. Plug printer into electrical outlet
2. Plug USB cord into your laptop
3. Click Install for HP Office Jet Pro 8100 when prompt appears

3. Access the Internet
4. Go to hp.com >
5. Support >
6. Download Drivers >
7. Printers >
8. Type in the search field: Office Jet Pro 8100 >
9. Click Go Directly to Software and Drivers Install >
10. Click Download
OR
1. Plug printer into electrical outlet
2. Plug USB cord into your laptop
3. Install CD-ROM, and follow prompts
To use Scanner
1. Plug scanner into electrical outlet
2. Plug USB cord into your laptop
3. Access the Internet
4. Go to canon.com/ijsetup >
5. Setup >
6. USA >
7. LiDE 220 >
8. Click Computer >
9. Download >
10. Run Download >
11. Double-click Set-Up >
12. Enter your computers password (if you have one) >
13. Software Installation List Prompt: (select both of the following)
a. ICA Driver
b. IJ Scan Utility (or IJ Scan Utility2)
