TCNICA TRANSFORMACIN DE VARIABLES
Una Variable. Se trata de aplicar el primer mtodo sin desarrollar la obtencin
primero la funcin de distribucin. En el caso discreto no hay problema real, en tanto
que X y Y=u(X) se relacionen biunivocamente. Por tanto, la sustitucin debe ser
adecuada.
Ejemplo, sea X el nmero de caras obtenidas en 4 lanzamientos de una moneda.
Determina la distribucin de probabilidad de y=(1+x)-1
Solucin, Si aplicamos la Binomial con n=4 y p=1/2 obtenemos que la distribucin de
probabilidad de X est dada por,
