This video clip showed an interview that featured Hillary and Norgay. I was able to then
understand how Norgay felt about his great victory.

Since Edmund Hillary, Tenzings partner, wrote this book, it gave me an insight about the
two mens personal aspects towards the climb. It also gave me an in depth understanding
about the journey and the hardships they faced.

picture, Norgay is very happy.

This website gave me quotes by Tenzing Norgay, where he talked about the hardships he faced
along the way. It also told me that since Tenzing came from a poor family, he had not

This source gave me knowledge on what exactly the mountain climbers, including
Tenzing, wore to stay alive. It also gave me general information about Mount Everest
itself, which gave me an understanding about how hard the climb actually was.

This source gave me an insight about just how experienced Tenzing was when it came to
mountain climbing. It also told me the intentions of Sir John Hunt, the expedition leader,
and why he chose to put Tenzing and Edmund together.

This website was a basic profile about Tenzings life. It gave me a general overview,
without going in depth, about Tenzings early life and what he did before and after his
expedition to Mount Everest.

This website was very useful because it gave me specific headings and organized the
information in a way that was easy to understand. It also gave me information about
earlier attempts to the summit of the mountain, and the supplies that were used by
Norgay and his team.
