Environmentally Friendly Lesson Plan

Overview of Lesson

We will be talking to the children about

environmentally friendly options that are
offered at campus as well as activities that
they can do at home that can help save the
environment. During the lesson plan, we will
be touring Purdue University and pointing out
specific examples of energy saving options
that are all around campus. Students will also
participate in pinwheel making and a fun
game during the tour of Purdue. We wish for
the students to leave with a more
knowledgeable background on the state of
the environment and ways they can
personally make an effort to help.

The following articles helped us in the
development of our lesson plan by providing
scholarly information to merit the content of
the reflected activities and video presentation.

Summary: Provided a list of standards to
meet when designing and developing this
lesson plan for twenty-first century learners
Value:The listed ISTE standards are recorded
categories of characteristics desired to be
expressed through instructional material
presented in an academic setting. This
particular article was of great value detailing
in full the expected objectives and measures
desired in students through technological
implications in instructional exercises.

pertaining to energy and fuel sources
effectiveness in environmental biomes in
compared to various forms of technology
Value: National Academies provided great

value in their educational facts and statistics.

This was a main draw of informative
information regarding the state of the current
environment and problems that exist due to
energy production technologies and
methodologies. Dispersion of fuel economy
within the United States, and energy
categorization within the United States are
two of the many hot buttons this article
statistically represents through staggered
annual governmental facilitation and
documentation.

environmentally friendly habits
Value: This article provided a set listing of
home friendly ways to integrate
environmental betterment activities for kids.
This in particular was of value because it
provided a way to link the complicated issues
of the causes of sedentary activism
concerning the environment and affect
motivation and reason to start personal
activism at the home.
