man ways, such as when all of the

practice to write numbers and
letters on the air instead of write

books individually I a quite place which is
reading corner.

-In each lesson the teacher give the student


paper to complete a simple questions to let
them practice and focus in the lessons more.

1-How does the teacher make sure the students


are prepared for the day?
The teacher was prepared all of the materials they
need such as, papers with different sizes, pencils,
colors, glue and sweets for the polite students. In
this day she was teaching them about yellow color
and letter S, so the day before lesson she ask
them to bring things with yellow color and things
begin with letter S, so the children's were interesting
also because the teacher was singing and modeling
with them.

2-How many tasks do they complete in one


hour?
Almost five tasks, they did many different activities.
First of all, they begin with morning dua. Secondly
singing the morning song, days song and the weather
song then they see whats the weather today, then the
teacher teach them about letters also sing the letters
song, I think she use sing strategy a lot because the
children's interested in that and focus more. Next
thing every student draw his letter in a creative way
and complete the worksheet about the letter they
took.
3-Did the teacher use a variety of different
types of learning activities?
Sure, the teacher was teaching them by using many
different useful and interesting activities such as,
singing letters, days, weather song, draw the letters
they took with their creativity , complete the
worksheets, let the students to model the shape of
letter with their hands and draw it in the air.
4-What materials did they use?
They used many materials like, papers with different
sizes, many kinds of colors, pencils, glues and scissors.
5-Were the instructions, explanations and

questions clear and appropriate for the


students needs? Give examples.
Yes she was teaching clearly, because there was a
student could not hear clearly so she keep repeat
instructions without feeling bored from repeat and
raise her clear voice, also there was a child can't see
clearly but the teacher used a big flash card with clear
picture and words in order to make it easier for the
boy. She take care of all the students and provide their
needs.
6-What strategies did the teacher use to ensure
the students understood what they are about to
do?
The teacher keep asking the students: what we are up
to?, what we will do now? What did we learn this day?
Or what we will do with this materials?, and this kind
of questions just to insure that they understood.
7-How does s/he make sure all students are
involved and attentive?
By using eye contact and ask them questions about
the lesson.
8-What signals can you identify that the children
have had enough?

There is many signals for example, if the children


mess behave, keep moving in the classroom and play
with things while the teacher teaching, saying I need
the toilet many times or crying.
9-What signals do children show that indicate
they are proud of their achievement or
disappointed?
If the student is proud of work or achievement he
become excited and be like: teacher I want to show all
my family what I did, can I take this poster to the
home?, or they ask the teacher to stick their work in
the classroom to design it. On the other hand when
the students are disappointed they rip the paper or
keep crying.
10-How do children demonstrate their
frustration?
Lack of concentrate, start talking with the others
while the teacher teaching, go out from the
classroom and cry non stop.
11-Do the children observe others?
Yes some children's observe the other children's
attitude and do what they do even its wrong, and
some of them observe the other children so if he
make noisy or anything wrong they told the teacher
about him.

12-Do the children interact with another child


during the task?
Yes they do, while Im observing I saw two students one
of them wear jacket and the other without, jacket
although he feel cold, then his friend take his jacket off
and give to him, I think its beautiful kind of interact
and cooperation.

13-What do they say or do while completing the


tasks?
When the students done from the tasks some of them
help each other if they didn't understand anything,
and some of the students be like, teacher you will give
us sweets today right? Because we were polite and we
didn't make noisy.
