    Asastudent,alwaysinterestedinthelivesofpeopleinneed,Ihavebeenlearningmany
    differentskillsandtalentsthatcanreallyhelpmetobeabetterevangelist,missionary,and/or
    pastor.BecauseofthebigdreamsIhaveofbecomingaleaderinthechurch,Ihavebeen
    preparingforthisrolebyattendingmissionstrips,beingaleaderhereathome,andevenjust
    lovingonpeoplehereinVacaville.ThemanyopportunitiesthatBuckinghamhasgivenmehas
    mademewhoIamanditmakesmeevenmoreexcitedforwhatIwilldoandwhoIstillam
    becoming.
    WiththemanyclassesthatBuckinghamalreadyoffersIhavebeenabletobecomea
    lifelonglearnerinlearningSpanish,music,technology,andleadership.Ihavealsotaken
    advantageoftheresourcesthatBuckinghamhasprovided,includingthehelpfulteachersand
    officehours.Notonlyhavetheseteachersandclassesaidedmeinlearningacademicallythere
    wereclassesandteacherthathavehelpedmetoexcelintechnology,videography,andgraphic
    design.AlloftheseusefulskillsthatIhavebeentaughthereinhighschool,Iwillbeabletouse
    inmypostsecondaryplans.AsIplantotransitionfromhighschoolintotheDreamCenter
    LeadershipSchoolIamreflectingonwhatIhavelearnedandhowitwillhelpmeattheDream
    Center.IwillbeabletoutilizeSpanishwhileIamlivinginLAnextyearbecauseofthemany
    peoplelivinginLAthatspeechSpanishastheirfirstlanguage.Iwillbeabletousemymusic

    knowledgeinthechurchthattheDreamCenterispartneredwith.Notonlywilljustmusicand
    SpanishisextremelyusefulinLAbutIcanusebothtechnologyandleadership.Notonlywill
    theseskillslearnedhelpmeinmypostsecondaryplans,butitwillhelpmeinmycareer.
    Therearemanydifferenttalents,experiencesandqualitiesthatIhaveandamabletouseasa
    missionaryorpastor.Myoutgoingandsocialqualitiescanhelpmetoexcelasamissionaryora
    pastor.NotonlycanIusemysocialexcellence,butIcanusemymusicaltalenttohelplead
    worshipinthechurch.Icanalsousemycompassionandloveforpeopletocouncilthepeople
    thatIpastor.TheleaderthatIamisoneofthemostimportantqualitiesthatittakestobein
    ministry.AlsothemanymissionstripsthatIhavebeenonhavetaughtmealotofthings.They
    havetaughtmethetobepatientwithpeopleandtolovepeopleunconditionally.NotonlyamI
    preparedformycareer,butIhavemanyotherthingsthatcanqualifymeandmakemebetterasa
    missionaryorpastor.
    IthinkthatIhavebeenveryinvolvedintheschoolandhavehelpedtomakeawelcoming
    communityandmaketheschoolabetterplace.AlsoIhavehelpedtorunmanydifferentclubs.I
    wasaPresidentofGleeclubandthevicepresidentforTheClub.Ihelpedtocreateasafe
    environmentinbothoftheseclubssothatkidscouldexpressthemselveswithoutanyjudgement.
    Italsowasaplaceforthemtoexcelinanyareaoftheirlives.
    BecauseofthemanydifferentskillsthatIobtainthatgivemetheabilitytobea
    compassionateandcaringpersontothepeoplearoundme,Icannowfollowmydreamsof
    helpingpeopleinthiswayineverydaylife.Iwillbeabletodopourintothelivesofpeoplethat
    needitmostandIcanchanneltheseskillsandtalentstobenefitthepeoplearound.Notonlywill

    Ibeabletophysicallyhelpthesepeople,butIwillhelpthemonadeeper,spirituallevel.Iam
    stokedtousetheskillsthatBuckinghamhastaughtmetomakeahugeimpactontheworld.
