Goal #1

Guiding Question:
How can I increase connection and communication between parent,
students, and teacher?

Strategies:

Timeline: Sept 2- Dec 18

Will use Remind to update parents on a weekly basis, as to upcoming

tests, assignments, field trips, or classroom activities accomplished by
students.
Send monthly parent emails, updating parents on activities students
have been doing, and personalizing emails, if there are specific updates
needed
Each student will receive at least one positive call home in a month
where we can celebrate success, or have an open conversation with
parent on child, and their positive involvement within the classroom.
Should problems arise with students, additional phone calls home will
be made, to update and inform parent on childs improvements and
progress.
Develop relationships with students by bringing social aspects into the
classroom, through a monthly activity where we learn more about each
student, in order for students to gain relationships with their peers, as
well as myself.
