A Professionalism and Understanding

Quite and clam start with you and the students sitting and
discussing the prior knowledge.
Reviewing the prior knowledge which is related to lesson.
Strong and open communication between you and the
students.
B Planning for Learning

You lesson and plan is designed to fit the students needs and
characteristics.
Adapt the learning objective that you took from pyp curriculum
and change it to what we learned in the class.
Add more descriptive details in the lesson plan.
Avoid using this words understand, know and explain in the
lesson plan and give description.

C Implementing and Managing Learning

Good points include:

Great classroom management strategies like hand on your head.


Dividing the activities into 3 groups depending on the students
levels.
Practicing using a ruler.

D Monitoring and Assessment of Learning

Reviewing the lesson by doing the group work, then showing it


in the end of the lesson.
Praise the students answers, and accept it.

General Comments
Next time I would like to see :

Choose a harder lesson, so I can see your understanding of the


math content and you teaching skills.
Use group time table strategy to have more control and focus on
your students.
Try to design fun and creative activities for all the groups.

Strong and open communication between you and the


students.

You know the students level and their behavior.

B Planning for Learning

In the learning objective you need to add perimeter instead of length.


Well detailed lesson plan.

C Implementing and Managing Learning

Very good group diverse group activity.


Show different ways to measure the perimeter.
Very good song to review the last lesson.

D Monitoring and Assessment of Learning

Why did you only focus on finding the perimeter of the rectangle?
Good that you let the students present their work in front of the class.
Excellent interaction between the students.

You showed deep reflective thinking about the students behavior and how to use the right
teaching method.
