Caption Movie 1 Experimental patterns of synchronized behavior produced by a spatial light modulator in the
opto-electric experiment in which the nodes of the network (the flashing patches of the screen) are continually updated
using a computer running a chaotic dynamical system. The nodes (screen areas of the spatial light modulator) of the
electro-optical network vary in brightness as they respond to the dynamics which changes the phases of the reflected
laser beam. The colors are added so that the clusters can be easily visualized.

Caption Movie 2 The movie illustrates the experimental phase-space plots corresponding to the panels shown on
the left hand side of Fig. 4 of the main manuscript. Lines are used to connect successive iterations of the dynamics,
as recorded from the experiment. The axes are consistent with those of Fig. 4.
