and emotional development. I planned and implemented engaging learning
experiences based on the outcomes stipulated in the Early Years Learning
Framework (DEEWR, 2009). I reflected upon and documented learning
outcomes and modified programs in conjunction with the coordinator. I wrote
term newsletter providing information regarding upcoming events and converse
with parents about any information regarding their child.

communication skills and aiding them in expressing themselves and their
feelings. I challenge the children to encourage critical thinking and I encourage
the children to self-reflect.
Achievements:

In addition to child-care responsibilities, I provided tutoring to the


children, enhancing their in-class performance and was able to empower
the parents to understand and address some of the social issues their
child was having at school.

Empowered the 6 year-old to become resilient against a persistent


schoolyard bully by teaching him skills to assert his boundaries in an
appropriate manner.

Ferguson Plarre Bakehouse - Retail assistant

I provided a high level of customer service, including managing customer


complaints and resolving disputes. I was responsible for managing the stores
weekly banking, counting cash takings after each shift, balancing the till and
banking the money. I was also responsible for opening and closing the store on
weekends and evening as well as training and supervising new staff across a
broad range of age groups. I was in charge of dealing with the bakery on
weekends, ensuring all orders were accurate and communicating with head
office when an issue arose.
