In the Memo. Cited. Instructions were issued to the Director of Town and
Country Planning to issue suitable instructions to all the Municipalities in the State to
the effect that no proposal of allotment of Municipal lands to the Municipal
Employees/Private individuals should be entertained, as the public lands had to be
used for public purpose like parks, play grounds, schools etc., these instructions are
reiterated now.
Hence, all the district Collectors in the State are requested not to allot the open
spaces in the approved layouts for any activity, without first consulting the Director of
Town and Country Planning. These instructions should be followed scrupulously in
future.
