    Gestion integrada de telecomunicaciones y el modelo TMN de la ITU Carlos Varela ABSTRACT This paper is devoted to Integrated Telecom- municatios Management. (TIM) one of its objetives is to provide the reader with a glance at TIM and describe ubication of Physical Data Network Management and Computer and Data communications administration in a wider Management Model scope, besides technology management, Operations Management, Custo- mer Relarionship and Service Management. In general terms explaining businees admi- nistration, and planning of telematics, and telecommunications services, following stan- dards. ‘The model scoped by this Integrated Telecom- municatios Management concept is a base for Business Management and an infrastructure for supporting a set of telematics and telecommu- 20 nications services, the TMN model (Telecom- ‘munications Managed Network) developed by ITU (international Telecomunicactions Union), therefore the esential objective of this paper is the general introduction of TMN. Availability of a set of standards for TIM comes from the role that Network management plays ina.communications and telematics infrastruc ture to keep control of technology infrastruc- ture’s services, quality and use of the network, looking for the implementation of strategies to improve the operation of a communications bu- siness, its business cycle which in turn should improve client service as user of telematics service Keywords: Network Integrated Management, TTMN Model RESUMEN Elpresente articulo trata el tema de la Gestion Integrada de Telecomunicaciones GIT teniendo como objetivo dar una vision general al lector del mismo y describir asi como se ubica la ges- ti5n dela red de datos fisica y de los equipos de comunicaciones y de cémputo dentro de un modelo de gestion mds general que abarca no solo la gestién de la tecnologia y de los equipos sino la gestién de la operacion, la gestion del servicio al cliente y en términos generales la gestion y planeacton de un negocio de servicios telemdticos y de telecomunicaciones siguiendo unas pautas y unos estandares.
