INSTALLATION

Installing the Fog Light Switch Harness


1. Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the DASHBOARD

18. Unplug the 7-pin connector from the light switch; 6-PIN
then slide the 1-pin connector from the switch CONNECTOR

security system, unplug the security system

21. Route the switch harness under the floor carpet

22. Attach one wire tie with clip to the switch harness,
and press the clip into the hole in the instrument
panel bracket. If this hole is already occupied,
remove the existing wire tie and secure both
harnesses with a new wire tie with clip.

39. Loosen the ground bolt securing the vehicle


central ground to the body. Attach the fog light
harness ground terminal and the vehicle ground
cable to the body using this bolt. Tighten the bolt
securely.
40. Secure the fog light harness to the vehicle

44. Tighten the two large washer-screws loosely


installed in step 35.

45. Repeat steps 34, 35, and 41 through 44 to install


the right fog light on the right side of the bumper.

46. Check that all wire harnesses are routed properly


and all connectors are plugged in.

47. Reconnect the negative cable to the battery.

48. Enter the customer’s radio anti-theft code, and


reset the radio station presets.

49. Reset the clock.

Replacing the Fuse

Fuse: 15A (P/N 98200-31500)

To replace the fuse, remove the cover from the fuse


holder taped to the switch harness, install a new 15A
HOOK FOG LIGHT fuse, and reinstall the cover.
HOUSING

NOTE: Do not touch the bulb itself; handle the bulb FUSE HOLDER
assembly only by the socket. Oily or greasy
substances on the bulb can shorten its service life due
to the heat produced when the bulb is turned on. If the
bulb is accidentally touched, wipe it clean with a clean,
soft cloth that has been dampened with denatured
alcohol or a mild detergent solution.

6. Replace the bulb with a new one.

7. Align the cutout in the socket with the projection


on the fog light housing when installing the socket.
