ORIENTACIONES
Estimado participante, en la presente sesin
revisaremos el tema referente al uso de Imperatives &
places in town en cuanto a su uso y aplicaciones dentro
de las expresiones en Ingles.
Recomendamos que revise su Gua Didctica para el

Imperatives are verbs used to:
give orders,
commands,
advices
warning
instructions

IMPERATIVES
Orders:
Is about a position of authority. For example: from
an adults to children and to animals. The intonation
of the words is important.
For example:
Sit down here!
Calm down!
Be quiet!

IMPERATIVES
Warnings
Used to warn someone of damage or
danger.
For example:
Watch your steps!
Look out!
Don't move!

IMPERATIVES
Advices:
Giving advice using the imperative is
used too.
For example:
Don't tell me you're not going! Take your
time and make your choice.
Don't use drugs
Don't drink alcohol

IMPERATIVE
Requests
Use the imperative to make a request,
but you need to use a polite word before
the verb:
For example:
Please take your time.
Please stay here.
Please keep talking.
Please don't drink beer.
