Gua rpida de instalacin

1.Versin de Prueba
Esta versin tiene 21 das de prueba desde su instalacin. La desinstalacin y reinstalacin no evita los
das de prueba. Esta versin posee todos los mdulos operativos durante la prueba. Al comprar el
softwarre usted solo recibir la llave de activacin, no necesitara reinstalar y configurar CafeSuite.

2. Importante
En Chile este software esta protegido bajo derechos de Propiedad Intelectual. Cualquier accin de pirateo,
modificacin, traduccin, ingeniera reversa, descompilacin, violacin de cdigo de este software es
penado por la ley. Y Cyberia Internet Ltda. o las empresas autorizadas por Przemek Miszczuk, tomaran
mximas acciones legales segn permita la ley. Recuerde que los Centros de Internet estn especialmente
obligados a usar software legal.
Localizar usuarios de CafeSuite no es un problema debido a que posee sistemas de seguridad y rastreo
por Internet.

3. Requerimientos
Ambos CafeAgent y CafeStation trabajan bajo plataforma Microsoft: Windows 95, Windows 98,
Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows Millenium y Windows XP. Para CafeStation Windows
NT/2000/XP es recomendado para obtener mayor estabilidad..
Requerimiento minimo:
- CafeAgent - Pentium 60 Mhz 16 MB, 500 kB de espacio en disco y red TCP/IP.
- CafeStation - Pentium 60 Mhz 32 MB, 10 MB de espacio en disco y red TCP/IP.
El software soporta IP dinmicas y estticas. Las aplicaciones pueden correr con cualquier resolucin de
pantalla, pero para CafeStation es recomendable al menos 800x600.

4. Instalacin y Configuracin - Paso a Paso

Ejecute el archivo de instalacin de CafeSuite que obtuvo y siga las instrucciones.

Ejecute el programa principal llamado CafeStation (Ej: el icono desde inicio>programas o desde el
escritorio). El programa le pedir que ingrese el usuario y clave para el usuario Administrador de
CafeSuite y luego se abrir el programa principal. Si esto no ocurre debe revisar las polticas de su
firewall. O bien puede contactarse con soporte.
Revise la configuracin del programa en Programa>Opciones o presionando Ctrl+O. Usted puede
configurar CafeStation en Principal para que se ejecute automticamente al iniciar windows y obligar

al software pedir una validacin de un administrador o operador. Y los operadores pueden ser
agregados en la pagina de Administradores/Operadores.
Ahora usted debe configurar el programa cliente eligiendo en CafeStation Programa>Configuracin
del Cliente. En la pagina Conexiones haga clic en Detectar en Direccion de este Terminal. Luego
las opciones Ejecutar CafeAgent al iniciar el sistema y Copia CafeAgent a la carpeta del sistema
deben estar marcadios en la pagina Miscelneo. Si usted desea que los terminales se bloqueen
cuando no esten en uso, debe configurar las opciones en Bloqueo de Terminales
Una ves configurado todas las opciones presione Aceptar e ingresar la contrasea para a futuro
desintalar el programa cliente (CafeAgent) en los terminales. Ahora debe ejecutar el archivo
CafeAgent.exe desde el directorio CafeSuite\Client (del servidor) en cada terminal o estacin de su
cybercafe. Recomendamos compartir el directorio Client solo para lectura. (Tambin es posible copiar
CafeAgent.exe y CafeAgent.ini en un disquete y ejecutarlo en los terminales uno a uno.) En cada
instalacin de terminales el Servidor CafeStation detectara automticamente los terminales y
preguntara si se desean agregar a la lista de terminales. CafeStation le preguntara tambin asignar una
tarifa por defecto para el grupo en que se encuentran los terminales. Esta Tarifa por Defecto puede
ser configurada en Lista de Terminales>Fijar tarifa por defecto. Es recomendable usar y configurar la
tarifa Normal como por defecto. En Programa>Opciones y en la pagina Tarifas de Cobranza puede
configurar los precios para cada tarifa.

Requirements
Both CafeAgent and CafeStation work on Microsoft platforms: Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows
2000, Windows Millenium and Windows XP. For CafeStation Windows NT/2000/XP is recommended due to greater
robustness.
Hardware requirements are minimal:

- CafeAgent - Pentium 60 Mhz 16 MB, 500 kB of disk space and TCP/IP network
- CafeStation - Pentium 60 Mhz 32 MB, 10 MB of disk space and TCP/IP network
The software supports both static and dynamic IP addresses. Applications can be run in any screen resolution, but for
CafeStation at least 800x600 and high color is recommended.

Installation and configuration - step by step

Execute downloaded file and install it to chosen folder by following the instructions from setup.
Execute main CafeStation program (for example from Start Menu or Desktop icon). You will be asked to enter
login and password for the super user and then the main server window will open. If you get warning that
program is unable to start server, there is probably a firewall installed that prevents unknown programs from
running. You have to configure firewall so that it accepts the new software. In case of troubles, you can always
contact me.
Check program configuration by choosing menu Program/Options or pressing Ctrl+O. You might want to set
automatic program startup (Main page) and set the option Demand administrator login so that the program asks
to log in each time it is executed. Cafe administrators can be added in the Administrators page.
Now you should set options for the client application by choosing menu Program/Client Setup. On the
Connection page click Detect this computer address button in order to get local hostname. Options Run
program automatically at system startup and Copy client program to system directory should also be set
(Miscellaneous page). If you want idle workstations to be locked, you should set it on Lock page.
After you set all the options press OK. Now you should execute CafeAgent.exe file from CafeSuite\Client
directory on every workstation in the cyber cafe. We recommend to share Client folder in read only mode and
execute program through network neighborhood, but you can also copy CafeAgent.exe and CafeAgent.ini to a
floppy disk. When executed the program will copy itself to the system and run from there, so if you use floppy
disk it can be removed after a moment and you can continue on the other workstations. After each execution,
there should appear an hourglass icon on client workstation and CafeStation program on the main workstation
should detect connection from client machine and ask to add it to the list. Each workstation will be assigned
unique name and address. If computers in the cafe are divided into groups (ex. games, internet) with different
charging rates, then you should change the name of the group the workstation belongs to by just entering
different group name. The program will ask you whether to set the charging rates for each new group. In the
Number box enter the number that will be assigned to the workstation for quick access (G key or menu List/Go
to...). To simplify workstation adding process, program will try to guess the data for the following workstations.
