Easy memory expansion is provided by an active LOW chip enable (CE), an active HIGH Chip enable (CE,). an active LOW output enable (OE), and three-state drivers, This device has an automatic power-down faxid: 1072 CY62128 128K x 8 Static RAM feature that reduces power consumption by more than 75% when deselected, Writing to the device Is accomplished by taking chip enable cone (CE+) and write enable (WE) inputs LOW and chip enable two (CE,) input HIGH. Data on the eight VO pins (Up through VO) is then writen into the location specified on the address pins (Ap through A;6) Reading from the device is accomplished by taking chip en able one (CE;) and output enable (OE) LOW while forcing write enable (WE) and chip enable two (CE2) HIGH. Under these conditions, the contants of the memory location speck fied by the address pine will appear on the VO pine. ‘The eight inputioutput pins (VOp through 1/07) are placed in a high-impedance state when the device is deselected (CE; HIGH or CE» LOW), the outputs are disabled (OF HIGH). or during awrite operation (CE; LOW, CE2 HIGH, and WE LOW). ‘The CY62126 is avallable in a standard 450-milwide SOIC, 32:pin TSOP type | and STSOP packages.
