Happy Summer!

Felz verano!

I hope everyone is enjoying fun in the sun. I am

looking forward to the 2015-2016 school year and
getting know each and every one of you and our
students. I want to welcome new and returning
parents to the Dual Language Immersion Program at
Treadwell Elementary. We have exciting changes in
our building this upcoming school year with new
and returning personnel.
Also, please ensure that our students are keeping
their bilingual tongues flowing this summer. With
this in mind, attached is reading material and
resources for you and your child to enhance
language fluency. The 2nd-5th grade teachers and I
will be looking for a book report the first week of
school, written in both Spanish and English. I look
forward to your thoughts and your assistance with
developing our biliterate and bicultural students.
