Purpose of the writing activity:


This activity allows students to learn how to organize their ideas by using an outline and also writing a
descriptive paragraph about a parade (above photograph). You must print and bring your brainstorm, outline,
first draft, and peer-editing sheet on June 10, 2015 and you are giving all you package to your peer
editor. Moreover, you will give your final paper to your teacher June 17, 2015.
Remember you will give all these papers to your teacher in a folder.

Prior doing this activity, please click on the hyperlink to print the brainstorm and the outline.

Moreover, you need to watch this very cool video, click on the hyperlink outline, about how to organize your ideas. This video will
show you step by step how to write your descriptive paragraph.

Remember that an outline is a perfect way to organize your ideas prior writing your first draft paragraph. Here is another link about
punctuation rules and a rubric that you must take into consideration while writing your paragraph.

As I mentioned above, you are giving your first draft to your classmate on June 10, 2015. Your editor, classmate, must return
your paper on June 12,2015 because you are giving your final package, brainstorm, outline, peer editor sheet and final paper, to
your teacher on June 17, 2015.
