analysis, power and energy and electrostatic. The main contents for this course are: primary and
secondary cells, Ohm's law, Kirchhoff's laws, power, series and parallel circuits and electrical charge.
General objective of the course:
The course is designed to give the trainees basic knowledge of batteries, principles DC circuits. Also how to analysis the DC
circuits, and covered power and fundamentals of electrostatic.
Behavioral objectives:
The trainees should be able to:
1. Distinguish between the primary cells and secondary cells.
2. Describe the different types of batteries and their connections.
3. Identify the colors of the resistor and calculate the resistance.
4. Use the Ohm's law to find the voltage.
5. Describe the difference between the series circuit and parallel circuit and how to determine the total current and resistor.
6. Connect the series circuit and parallel circuit on the connection board.
7. Apply Kirchhoff's law and use the rule of current and voltage divider.
8. Determine the power in series circuit and parallel circuit.
9. Check for resistor failure with an ohmmeter.
10. Explain the terms used in basic electrostatics.
11. Describe the potential difference in the electrostatics.
