Comments: Phoebe was confident in her ability to interact with all

students and demonstrated her eagerness towards teaching by working
with small groups of students during Literacy rotations and Numeracy
sessions. She guided small groups of students with their work, gaining the
students confidence and trust with their learning and understanding.
Students became comfortable in asking Phoebe many questions, and
when appropriate she would confidently answer them, however at times
she needed to direct them to me, their classroom teacher.
Phoebe worked alongside other Grade 1 teachers and emergency relief
teachers in a professional manner. She was eager to learn more about and
understand the philosophy of the International Baccalaureate Primary
Years Program that Milgate Primary School has adapted within our
curriculum.
Phoebe was given the opportunity to take full control of the classroom,
with the assistance of an emergency teacher. Her reflection about the day
was honest and she managed the students well. She ensured that the
activities I had left for the emergency teacher were completed. Following
my instructions, the students worked on a narrative piece of writing,
Phoebe recognised the need to ensure the students had adequate time to
plan and put more detail into their stories. She took initiative and asked
the students to draw a picture of their story as an extra add on to the
narratives.
I wish Phoebe all the best with the completion of her studies and pursuing
