LEADERSHIP

Leading is another of the basic function within the management process in Chep.
"Leading is the use of influence to motivate employees to achieve organizational
goals" (Richard Daft).Managers must be able to make employees want to
participate in achieving an organization's goals. In Chep, there are three
components make up the leading function Motivating employees, influencing
employees and forming effective groups. The leading process helps the organization
move toward goal attainment.
First, motivating employees. Mr Mohan motivated the worker by treating them when
they are achieving organizations goals. By treating them, the worker will feel more
motivate and felt themselves appreciated. So this will encourage them work more to
achieve more achievement for the future.
Second influencing employees. Mr. Mohan will take care the welfare of their worker.
He will ask the workers about their dorm such as Do they really comfortable in their
dorm , is there any defect in their dorm and many more. Then, If the worker are
absent, Mr. Mohan will ask that particular worker why he was absent This will make
them feel loved and indirectly will influencing them to work hard.
Lastly, forming effective group. Every morning, there will be a morning briefing that
conducted by Mr. Mohan. He will announce the worker about the yesterday
performance whether they are good or not. So the worker will not repeat the same
mistake that they did. Besides that for the new workers there will be training
process provided. They will be trained until they are expert. So, by doing the
morning briefing and provide the training for the new workers, its indirectly will form
an effective group.
