Students will be able to use technology during the lesson. They will play educational games. Also, they
will solve and write down the answers.

We will learn about addition. It is very simple operation. It is a combination of two or more
different objects or numbers.
For example, I have 2 green cards and 3 pink cards. When I add them together, how many
cards do I have now? Lets count them together.
Lesson activity:
Online game, Catch the fish game, music video, work sheet
Modeling:
First of all, students will solve a single digit number. EX: 3+2=5
Introduce the idea of adding two digit numbers by asking students to give an
example of two digit numbers

Guided Practice:
Online game: students will practice adding on the smart board. They will add numbers and
play an online game.

Independent Practice:
Catch the fish game: students will play a game. They need to draw a two digit numbers
problem and solve it individually. Then, they need to look for the answer on the bingo card
and color it. A student how will color 3 fish; he or she will win a prize.

At the end, I will review the steps of solving a two digit numbers problem
