It has come to the notice of the UGC that a fake Circular bearing No. F. No. IG/ ‘Admin233/2014/CPPIAD dated 15" July, 2014 on Research and Technical Courses Guidelines and the recommendations of Standing Committee for M.Phil, Ph.D. and MTech. course run by ali States, Private, Deemed, Open and Central Universities and the appointments and promotions for Associate Professor and Assistant Professor purported to have been issued by the UGC in the name of T.G. Thorat, A.A.O. has been circulated to some Universities/Colleges. In this connection, it is brought to the notice of the public in general and of all the stakeholders in particular that the aforementioned Circular is absolutely ‘FAKE’ and therefore no effect shall be given to it by any University/College/Institution/Individual.
