I Wonder Reflection Essay
How do feelings form? Why do we have the feelings we have? Why do we
have feelings for other people? These are the questions that guided me to
research my topic, Why do we have feelings? Feelings come from events in
your life. This made me wonder about the topic because I thought they came
from how you feel at the moment. The origination of where feelings come
from kicks me into the discovery of this topic because I wasnt expecting
them to come from events in your life. I thought that feelings came from how
you feel at the moment. This was the question because I didnt know until
now, where and what they form from.
When I was investigating my topic, I researched it by learning about
feelings. How they form, what they are, why we have them, etc. Why do we
have feelings? How do feelings form? Why do we have feelings for other
people? These are the questions that help me research my topic more in
depth. They helped me better understand feelings which helped me
understand my question. Kali Munros website, Psychology Today, and
Sources of Insight were the three best sources that I used. They gave me a
lot of information that will help me with my final product. A couple facts that
helped me research are, our thoughts create our feelings, emotions may

signal a change in our environments, and moral emotions are based on selfawareness. I determined the credibility of my sources if they had certain
information. Some of this information may include, author, date last updated,
article title, and the website title.
When I was organizing the facts for my topic I had to choose the most
important and relatable to my topic. I couldnt choose facts that had nothing
to do with feelings. I saw some connections between some of my sources.
Some include, similar facts and similar examples. I made connections to
some of the examples such as, If you suddenly need to walk a bridge that is
100 feet above the ground, fear will kick in. it will make you think one step
could be life threatening. I have walked wobbly bridges and ropes that
seemed really high above the ground. I learned new information like, where
feelings come from, what feelings are, and why we have feelings. These
helped me comprehend feelings.
To present my question, I am doing a powerpoint voiceover. I
chose this because I have experience with screen- cast- o- matic from recent
projects. I think this was the best choice for my presentation because, I have
used screen-cast-o-matic and I know more about powerpoints than other
presentation options. I think my presentation will kick people in to the
discovery because of the information and examples I gave. One example is,
If you suddenly have to walk a bridge that is 100 feet above the ground,
fear will come in to play. My creation shows my understanding of my

essential question because I talk in detail about the topic and show
knowledge.
