Key: YES under the headings below, developing, and
mastery indicates where the students are at the post
assessment.
b. To summarize, I feel like the lesson acted like a
reinforcement for the students since this is a classroom
with 3 grade levels, they had some exposure before this
lesson. The students really were receptive to the
information that I was giving them and in turn took their
independent lesson and really completed it to the best
of their ability. None of my students were in the below
category for the post assessment, most were in the
mastery. But those who are in the developing are those
students who maybe got the concept, but didnt
present the information factually.
B. Individuals
a. It is important to analyze the data from all students
ranging in degree of performance not only to see how
they performed on the specific lesson, but also to see if
instructional strategies need to be changed in order to
help those students ranging from high, medium, and
low. Through this analysis I would be able to gather the
information I needed in order to help guide the students
with further instruction.
b. Quantitative- High- performed very well on the pre and
post assessment, this student received a 100% on his
mastery of the lesson objective for this lesson. MiddleThis student also performed at 100% in her mastery of
the pre and post assessment, this student received an
80% correctness on her mastery of this lesson and the
objective due to some parts being left out. Low- This
student performed very weakly on the pre and post
assessment. The student did not pay attention during
the whole group instruction, but when asked the pre
assessment question the response was correct. The
post assessment was done very poorly but the

Lesson 3
For this lesson I was not able to gather any information due to the
fact that we didnt complete it because of the instruction wasnt
being affective on the students. I was becoming frustrated and so
was the students, so we stopped the lesson completely and Mrs.
Jenkins picked back up with it at a later day.
