First Conditional

Generalidades:
El condicional se utiliza para mostrar un hecho (condicin) que genera algn tipo de
consecuencia.
La estructura bsica de todas las condicionales es la siguiente:

IF condicin A + consecuencia B
Consecuencia B + IF condicin A
Cabe hacer notar que el orden de las frases no altera el resultado, por lo que la condicin
introducida por IF, puede ir al principio o al final de toda la oracin.

Condicional Uno (First Conditional)


Estructura:

IF A (CONDICIN), B (CONSECUENCIA)
(PRESENTE)
(FUTURO o CAN)
Ejemplo:
If she wins the next match, she will be world champion.
Si gana el prximo partido, ella ser campeona mundial.
We can buy a house if we sell your car.
Podemos comprar una casa, si vendemos tu auto.
Como se puede apreciar en el segundo ejemplo, la consecuencia se puede expresar
utilizando el tiempo futuro (Will -Shall), como con el verbo modal CAN.
