Qu son los verdaderos cognados?

Cognates (Cognados): En lingstica, los cognates son las palabras

que
tienen un origen comn al idioma espaol, y adems tienen el mismo
significado aunque se deletrean y pronuncian un poco diferente.

Ejemplo:
Nowadays, there are many youngsters who want to be different
from the rest of the people.

Qu palabra o palabras en la oracin consideras que son parecidas a algunas de

tu idioma natal?
Si respondes que estas palabras son different y rest, ests en lo correcto.
Different y rest son palabras que tienen el mismo significado a las palabras
diferente y resto en el idioma espaol, aunque su deletreo y pronunciacin sean
un poco distinta.

Espangls es un trmino recalcado para describir el punto de encuentro entre el espaol

y el ingls. Este estudio sistematizado de los cognados entre el Ingls / Espaol ofrece
al estudiante un enorme balance potencialmente de las palabras del vocabulario espaol.
Los sufijos cognados se clasifican en categoras que, para mayor claridad y comodidad,
se han agrupado bajo los siguientes trminos de la gramtica:
1. Nouns: (Sustantivos) Palabras que se refieren a cosas (woman, chair, city, dream
etc.)
2. Adjectives: (Adjetivos) Palabras que describen cosas (pretty, happy, yellow etc.)
3. Verbs: Palabras de accin (drink, smiled, goes)
4. Adverbs: Palabras que se le agregan al verbo para describir una accin (They ran
quickly )

espaol.

Verbos
Hay muchos verbos en Ingls que pueden transformarse al Espaol. Usualmente
cambindole la parte final del verbo en ingles y agregndole al verbo las siguientes
terminaciones: 'ar', 'er' or 'ir'.
Casi todos los infinitivos en ingles que terminan en '-ate' (celebrate) puede convertirse
al espaol remplazando la terminacin '-ate' por '-ar' (celebrar).

OIL/GAS TREATMENT PLANT

What it is?
In an oil field the oil is generally mixed with associated gas,
production water and contaminants such as hydrogen sulfide.
In the oil treatments plant the associated gases, production
water, and hydrogen sulfides are separated from the oil. The
stabilized oil is then stored and ready to be shipped via
pipeline or oil tanker.

The associated gas separated from the oil, or the raw natural gas produced by a gas
field, is gathered and collected in a gas plant where it is dehydrated and processed to
recover the heavy fractions and to remove sulphur compounds. The treated gas can then
be transported via pipeline, forwarded to an LNG or GTL facility, or used locally or
abroad as feedstock for petrochemical processes.

How it works
In an oil treatment plant the crude oil is first sent to a gas-oil
separation system where its pressure is reduced in stages. In
each decompression stage the associated gas is released in a
separator until the pressure is finally reduced to slightly above
atmospheric pressure. The sour crude oil is then sent to the stabilizer column where it is
heated and cascaded through a series of bubble trays spaced throughout a column. The
hydrogen sulfide and remaining light hydrocarbons boil off in this process and are
collected at the top of the column, while the sweetened heavy crude is drawn off from
the bottom. The stabilized oil is then cooled and stored. The stream collected from the
top of the stabilizer unit is treated in accordance with
environmental regulations.
In the gas plant the raw natural gas is dehydrated and processed
through acid gas removal, molecular sieves, and chilling units, to
remove hydrogen sulfide, NGLs (Natural Gas Liquids) and LPG.
These liquids are typically ethane, propane, butane, isobutene,
and pentane and have higher value than the bulk natural gas, as
they can be sold as specialized feed stocks for petrochemical processes.
