courses

Taking college courses

during High School
helps you with timemanagement skills and
discipline that youll
need in college, and
free up enough time in
college for you to take
part in programs like
study abroad or double
major. It also improves
your chances of
getting into the college
of your choice and
qualifying for
scholarships and in
some cases you can
also save money by
graduating early due
your extra credits.

If you already have

busy, stressful
schedule, the additional
requirements of a dual
enrollment program
could cause your grades
to suffer and defeat its
own purpose. The
courses you take are
real college courses
meaning theyll go on
your transcript and stay
there forever so you
need to feel fairly
confident that you will
be able to do well.
Some school may not
accept all or any- of
the credits youve
earned through a
college course in high
school.

Lear how to
manage
your time;
Increase you
GPA during

In our school, Tallulah Falls, academics are the primary mission. The quality of the
academic program and the academic success of students are priorities since the foundation of the
school. Thinking about that I would like to introduce to you the college courses for advanced
students. Those courses would give the students an idea about what college is going to be, it
would help them to improve their time-management skills and discipline that they will need in
college. It would free up enough time in college for the student to take part in programs like
study abroad or double major. It also improves their chances of getting into colleges of their
choice and qualifying for scholarships and in some cases they can also save money by graduating
early from high school due your extra credits.

These courses would be presented in all different areas; and it would be lecture by
college professors and by our faculty, as well. Each course would have an additional cost for the
student. The students qualified for these courses are the ones with higher academic potential,
which is because it requires a lot of extra time and if you are not able to keep all of your grades
up there is no point in taking a college course during your high school and dropping your GPA
right before college.
There is nothing more motivational for students than thinking ahead and getting out of
the box, students want to be challenge and prove that they are capable to do it, and do it with
success. Think about it, you have nothing to lose!
