What research supports my plan?

Media literacy is vital to the growth of our students perception of the world around
them. (De Abreu, 2011)
Media literacy promotes critical thinking beyond the traditional literacies of reading
and writing, including the visual and computer literacies. (De Abreu, 2011)
Media literacy education is an opportunity for learning that provides the openness by
which both student and teacher can converse and respectfully give divergent
opinions. (De Abreu, 2011)
Media literacy lessons are central to the growth and development of this generation
and future generations of students. (De Abreu, 2011)
