Patient position:
Supine or sitting, with the elbow flexed
slightly less than, or at 90 degrees, with the
forearm supinated. Place one hand under the
elbow to cushion it from table pressure. (To
avoid trunk substitution and to stabilize the
joint, place elbow on table.)
Examiner pressure:
Against lower forearm in the direction of
extension.
