Reflection
After the completion of the outcomes for Adolescent
Development

Psychology,

am

beginning

to

feel

more

comfortable with the structure of my SIC. Now that my GLOs and

SLOs have been condensed I feel I have a basis to start planning
the remainder of the curriculum. I believe that my lesson plan
and unit plan meet the outcomes of the SIC. The SLOs created
have provided me with many ideas for projects, activities and
field trips that will allow me to base this course on inquiry and
student interest. This will include research projects in several
areas where students have the option to choose their topic and
presentation

method,

field

observations,

lab

experiments,

participation in fundraisers and designing campaigns to raise

awareness. I believe this SIC addresses many topics that
students will deal with during adolescents and am satisfied with
the direction it is taking. I am confident that with the completion
of the SIC I will be successful in meeting the end goal I am trying
to achieve.
