Reflection:
I find storybird to be a very efficient and interesting educational tool. I think it really allows for students creativity and
freedom of expression. I remember in my school, we wrote books every year and had them published and bound by parent
volunteers. It was one of he coolest things and still is now. So to begin with I love the idea. Following that, having these books
preserved forever online just makes it even better. Students can have the books forever without fear of water damage or them
getting ripped or ruined.
On the side of fair use & copyright, I think it is very important to teach these concepts to children. The younger children
can start to understand and learn these concepts, the better use and understanding theyll have as they grow and mature. Fair
use and copyright is something that I still tend to struggle with, even at the age of 20. It is a difficult concept and it can be very
tricky to figure out what is and isnt fair use.
