Inthislessonstudentswilldiscussandanalyzetheeventsleading
to
LaReforma
andtheeventualrevolutioninMexico.First,
studentswillanalyzephotosoftherevolutionanddiscusswhatis
takingplaceinthephotos.Theywillneedtorecallleadersofthe
revolutionandstarttoevaluatethecausesandeffectsofthe
revolution.Next,studentwillrecaptheirreadingofPartIIby
viewingavideoontherevolution.Studentswillthendiscussthe
impactoftherevolutionandidentifyMexicosnextsteps.Finally
studentswillparticipateinanactivitywhichasksthemtoanalyze
twosecondarysourcesfromtextbookssponsoredbytheMexican
government.Studentswillbeaskedtocriticallythinkaboutthe
similaritiesanddifferencesbetweenthesetwosourceand
uncoverwhytheycausedissuesbetweenthepeopleofMexico
