Yakisoba Grilled noodles

Ingredients
You need:

You can use:

soba noodles
pork, sliced
thinly
oil
carrots
onion
cabbage,
chopped
yakisoba sauce
bean sprouts

Equipment

frypan
knife for cutting and chopping
cutting board
colander
something to stir the ingredients

Instructions
1. Boil the noodles until they are slightly soft. Drain the water with a colander.
2. Chop and slice the vegetables (except for the bean sprouts).

Cut the pork into small pieces.

Put the oil into the frypan and make it hot.

5.

Put the carrots, onions and pork into the frypan. Stir them for a few minutes.

Add the noodles. Mix everything.

Add the cabbage. Mix everything.

8.

Add the bean sprouts (and shallots, capsicum, etc). Mix well.

9.

Add the yakisoba sauce. Mix well.

10. Put on a plate. Eat! Say, Umai!


Some people add katsuobushi (dried bonito tuna flakes),
aonori (seaweed) and beni shoga (pickled ginger) or octopus.
You can also add other ingredients. Please experiment.
Some people add mayonnaise, or even fried eggs!

Yakisoba is a very popular and simple dish. People often buy it from
food stalls at festivals or make it when they have a BBQ.
