Quick Tip

Mark an Email Message as Private and Other

Sensitivity Options

Tag an email message as Private to let recipients know that they should treat the
information as private, not to share with others, and prevent delegates from seeing the email.
1. While composing an email, click the

Options tab expand Tracking group.

2. In the Settings area click Sensitivitys
drop-down arrow select Private.
3. Click Close.
4. When the recipient opens an email
marked as private, this appears above the
body.

See page 2 for further

details

A private message does not prevent the recipient from forwarding and printing the message.

Only the mailbox owner will be able to see and view the private messages; they do not appear
for delegates to view--not even the header.
Other Sensitivity options are listed on the next page, titled Mark Email Messages with
Different Sensitivity Options.
