These tablets can be applied any time of the year! They are safe & effective on all garden soils and no

TREES/SHRUBS
Burning Bush: $9.00/ea, 15 to 18 inches; This bush has dark green leaves through spring
and summer. In the fall, the leaves turn a bright, clear red color. The deep dark red leaves almost
glow with color and little to no pruning is necessary. This plant is tolerant of shade, but prefers full
sun to produce the most vibrant colors.
Crepe Myrtle: $5.50/ea, 2 to 3 ft., Colors- Purple, White, Red, Pink The premier
summer-flowering tree of the South. Tolerates heat, humidity, drought, and well drained soils. Can
reach heights of up to 20 ft.
Peppermint Crepe Myrtle: $5.30/ea, 18 to 24 inches This beautiful semi-dwarf tree can
reach heights of 4 to 6 feet. It has blooms of dark pink with white lace edges.
Pussy Willow: $3.60/ea, 3 to 4 ft. This tree can reach heights of 20-40 feet and has a rapid
growth rate with a long life. It has beautiful green foliage with white flowers during the spring.
Red Maple: $5.50/ea, 3 to 4 ft. Adapts to environment easily with a fairly rapid growth rate.
Beautiful, fiery colors of fall are typically brilliant red. This tree can reach heights of up to 40-60 feet.
Silver Maple: $4.80/ea, 3 to 4 ft. Extremely rapid growth rate gaining up
to 3-7 feet
each year. This tree also is known as a River Maple and adapts to almost any environment but does
best in well drained, moist river bottom soils. Very intolerant of shade. Can reach heights of 60-80
feet at mature age.
River Birch: $4.50/ea, 3 to 4 ft. This beautiful tree has a fair growth rate, gaining 1.5-3 feet
each year, and is often an attractant to white-tailed deer, turkeys and other small birds. It can reach
heights of 40-70 feet and does extremely well in wet, poorly drained soils. Shade intolerant.
White Flowering Dogwood: $5.00/ea, 3 to 4 ft. This tree has been called the most
beautiful tree of North America and who doesnt love this favorite with its large white flowers,
blushed red inside, bright fall foliage, and clusters of small oval scarlet fruit that last into the winter.
Pink Flowering Dogwood: $12.00/ea, 18 to 24 inches, budded Gorgeous deep rosy
centered flowers that fade to pink in the petals, colorful fall foliage and scarlet fruit for the winter
birds.
Bradford Pear: $13.00/ea, 3 to 4 ft. A southern favorite, with its lovely shape, white flowers
in early spring and fantastic red fall foliage this tree has everything for your landscape.

White Oak: $4.00/ea, 2 to 3 ft. A very stately tree that grows up to over 100 feet tall. The
acorns are eaten by squirrels, blue jays, red-headed woodpeckers, deer, ducks and raccoons. Excellent
for planting on a hunting lease or just for some shade in the yard. Purplish-red to violet- purple
foliage adorn this tree in the fall and make it a contribution to any landscape.
Scarlet Oak: $5.00/ea, 3 to 4 ft. This tree will be around for years to come. It has a long life
span and rapid growth rate, at maturity it can reach heights of 50-80 feet. Bright yellow in the fall
and clean green in the spring this tree prefers soils with good drainage on dry sites.
Pin Oak: $5.00/ea, 3 to 4 ft. This oak is utilized by many game species, especially wood ducks,
white-tail deer, and wild turkey. Due to this trees form, adaptability, growth rate (rapid), longevity
and fall color (changing from dark green to deep scarlet) it is a great choice for landscaping and other
ornamental uses as well. At maturity heights are between 60-85 feet.
Willow Oak: $3.50/ea, 2 to 3 ft. Need shade? This tree has got it, ornamental and shade tree
use are one of its most common reasons for being planted. Another common use for this diverse tree
is erosion control and lets not forget our forest buddies love the acorns produced by it. This
magnificent tree can reach heights ranging anywhere from 50-100 feet, depending on the density of
the growth around it and can have a trunk 3-6 feet in diameter. Prefers moist, well-drained slightly
acidic soils and full sun to light shade.
Eastern Redbud: $5.50/ea, 3 to 4 ft. Simply Beautiful! This native, perennial, deciduous
tree/shrub can vary in form from dense and round when grown in sun to an open, taller form when
grown in shade. The tree produces hundreds of small pink flowers in early spring. On the older
stems, the tree produces bright magenta-pink to lilac flowers. This enchanting tree is very drought
resistant and can grow just about anywhere. White-tailed deer and a wide range of birds, including
quail are among many animals attracted to this tree. At maturity, it can reach heights of 20-30 feet.
Babylonian Weeping Willow: $4.50/ea, 4 to 5 ft. Gorgeous! This beautiful tree can really
add a historical look to any landscape. Great for decoration, shade and gives the kids a great place to
play. This tree can reach heights of up to 40 ft.
Bald Cypress: $4.50/ea, 2 to 3 ft. No stranger to us! This tree is easily recognized by the
form of the tree, the leaves, and the knees growing near the flared base of the trunk. The seeds
produced by this tree are eaten by cranes, a few other bird species and occasionally browsed by deer.
This tree absolutely loves water and does really well in swampy areas. Very resistant to decay this tree
would be great for areas of flooding and poor drainage.
Persimmon: $5.00/ea, 2 to 3 ft. Deeply entrenched in Southern culture, this tree produces
fragrant flowers in summer and according to folklore, its seeds can be used to forecast weather!
Prefers light, sandy, well-drained soil, but will grow in rich, southern, bottom lands. At maturity this
tree will reach 30 to 60 ft.
FRUIT TREES/PLANTS
