UNUMERIT Working Paper Series: Note to Authors

UNUMERIT Working Papers aim to generate interest and debate around global problems of
human survival, development and welfare. All content should be high quality, in line with
the institutes research aims, and support the research policies outlined in the research and
policy context.
Papers should be a maximum of 50 pages and use standard British English, following the
style guides of both Maastricht University and United Nations University. For example:
analyse, judgement, labour, organisation, programme, etc.
To reach the widest possible audience, we distribute our research to several repositories.
For this we use metadata files. To facilitate this process, authors should include the follow
items on the title page(s) of their working papers:
Title
Author(s): full names of all authors (full given and surname, no initials)
Abstract: maximum of 300 words
Email address(es): an email address for each author
Affiliation: at least one affiliation for each author
Keywords: at least three keywords
JEL classification codes: at least one JEL code at the double digit level. For example: 033
