Rio de Janeiro, December 22, 2014 - LIGHT S.A. (Company), in compliance with CVM
Instruction 358/02, of January 3, 2002, hereby informs its shareholders and the public in general

that, on December 19 , 2014, a new Shareholders Agreement of Renova Energia S.A.

(Renova) was entered into by RR Participaes S.A. (RR), Cemig Gerao e Transmisso
S.A., (Cemig GT) and the Companys wholly-owned subsidiary, Light Energia S.A. (Light
Energia),

in which Renova acts as consenting intervening party (New Shareholders

Agreement).
The New Shareholders Agreement replaces the one executed on September 29, 2014, without
any changes in the political rights held by Light Energia in the previous Shareholders
Agreement, and aims to govern, among other matters: (i) the binding of shares and the exercise
of voting right by shareholders; (ii) the corporate governance of the Company and its
subsidiaries (when existing); (iii) restrictions to the transfer, by shareholders, of bound shares;
and (iv) the exercise, by shareholders, of preemptive and tag-along rights related to bound
shares.
