All 40 students have access to a tablet computer with Internet connection and the applications

to use to as a guide during their research, participation, and presentation.
The rubric will be used to provide feedback and assess students quality of work. The rubric will
assess content, organization, design, graphics, and presentation skills, length of presentation, and
formatting /documentation of sources. The lesson is a group project; therefore members of the
group will also be required to provide an evaluation of each other contribution to the assignment
which will also be available on the BBM app and the e-mail that was created. This will be used
to help diffuse the balance of work problems encountered when completing group projects.
The combination of the rubric and the partner evaluation will be used to provide the final grade
for the students. The rubric will account for 60% of the grade and 40% of the grade will be based
on the students completion of their group member evaluation worksheet.

Media effectiveness

To evaluate the effectiveness of the media used in this lesson, the teacher will assess students
knowledge of the various principles taught during the direct instruction, and how they were able
to manipulate the different apps on their tablets. The goal of the assessment is to gauge the level
of student comprehension of the major learning objectives and concepts. If the students are able
to effectively use technology to communicate, and participate effectively in the lesson being
taught as well as demonstrate an understanding of these concepts during the assessment, then the
use of in cooperating technology in the teaching and learning process would have been achieved.
