Dear Evaluator,

Hello! My name is Yasar Ahsan and today I will be illustrating the topics
and experiences we had on our first trimester in English class. Also the essay which we
worked to identify our study from the first trimester of English.
During the first trimester of English we have learned about Othello and Lamb of
slaughter also such other great article and stories. Which were the readers and we
were supposed to figure out the main points in the stories and figure what makes the
story great, which these ideas helps us to create better stories and essays to grab the
readers attention. For me one interesting activity I found was Clarifying (PQCS)
because it helps us readers to break down the important aspects of the stories we read.
In our english class we had our struggles, weakness and improvement. So, far in
English class, one of my strenght is Clarifying (PQCS) because Im capable of figuring
out required elements of the stories we read and understand the story important
reasons of the stories. One area I need to improve in is Conflict in my stories and I plan
to work on this by reading several books and remember the conflicts which could be
useful on the future. One area I have grown as a reader or writer is in Chunking
because I could figure out the important segment of the stories and use them when its
required.
The essay we have worked on is the Manipulation essay. My Manipulation Project
focused on how people be conducted through manipulation, how manipulation creates
conflicts to peoples lives and how could it avoided. I created my project by researching
for claims which could answer the questions, started the essay with appropriate hook
and thesis. Answered every single question in individual paragraph with proper
evidences, claims and explanation. Ended the essay with a proper restatement of the
thesis and an idea given how the reader should prevent being manipulated. My works
meet the standard of the project because I revised it several times, followed every
single requirement and checked the rubric for any depriving area. This project helped
me to see the improvement of my essay writing capability from the past. The thing Im
proud of my essay is my evidences, claims and explanation because it illustrated the
answer of the questions pretty well.
I hope everyone had a brief experiences of the first trimester on English class and which
may bring the craving of reading my project. Thank you!
