To download the Installer setup for MySQL, go to their official site
http://www.mysql.com
When the webpage would be displayed, click on Download link ..
*** Note: The design of the webpage might have been changed by time, but there MUST be the Download Link ***

Scroll Down the MySQL Download page up to MySQL Community Server section
There would be a Generally Available (GA) release for production use link
Click on that link

Scroll down the MySQL GA Download section to the list of Operating Systems, for
which you want to download MySQL
and click on appropriate Operating System Link ,,.,, for example Windows

Click on Pick a mirror link against the Windows Essentials sub-section

Download mirror list for MySQL from various countries would appear, describing
the place and Server Information against each there would be FTP and/or HTTP
links, click on any link

If the server, you have chosen is available, it would begin the download,,
but firstly, File Download Security Warning dialogue would be displayed ..
click on Save button to specify the name and path of the downloading file

Save As dialogue box would be appeared, specify the download path and name of
the file to be downloaded (it is recommended not to change the default name)
click on Save button to begin the download .

Downloading has began now, and the time it would take to finish the download
depends on your internet speed Once the download is finished, you are ready to
install the application

Installing the application

Once you have successfully downloaded MySQL setup
Its setup file would be available on the path you specified
Double click on the setup to Run it

MySQL Server X.yy Setup Wizard would be appeared
click on Next button to continue

Setup Type dialogue box would be appeared next,
It is recommended to keep the Typical setup type, or Complete setup type,,
Custom setup type shall only be used by advance users

Now the setup is Ready to Install the Program,
It would be showing you Destination and Data folder for the Installation of MySQL
It is recommended to keep it as default ..

click on Install button to begin the installation

MySQL Enterprise configuration wizard would be appeared
click on Next button to continue ..

Configuration wizard would be appeared,
Do check the Configure the MySQL Server Now checkbox
and If you want to Register your product with SunConnect service, you can check
it as well,,

MySQL Server Instance Configuration Wizard welcome dialogue box would
be appeared ..

Next dialogue box would be asking for the type of configuration you need to
select.
select Standard Configuration and click Next button

Windows Services option would be asked by the wizard ..
check Install As Windows Service option
check Launch the MySQL Server automatically option
check Include Bin Directory in Windows PATH option
then click Next button to continue ..

Security Options dialogue box would be appeared next
where you can specify the new password for root login (which is the default admin
login for MySQL)

Setup is now ready to execute the MySQL Server Instance Configuration
click on Execute button to continue

Setup has now done the Installation and Configuration of MySQL Server
click on Finish button

Checking the Service ..
This is not the part of Installation, but whenever you need to use MySQL console,
you shall check weather mysql services is running or not ..
right click on Task bar Task Manager open Processes tab

Login in to MySQL Console
Start Run mysql

u root p<root_password>

(please note that there is no space between p and root_password ..
