TTW demonstrate how to brainstorm (create a mind-map that includes figurative


language) for the poem.
o TLW brainstorm for their poem (rough draft of poem is due next Thursday).
Formative Assessment:
o TTW will walk around the room and look for figurative language in their mind-maps.
o TTW collect exit cards (3 examples of alliteration).

whether each one is correct or not.
