    Half of a paragraph of a Gamma World adventure that I never got around to GMing. It has a character going into my high school (though it doesn't go right out and say so). Might be a good start for a campaign in your hometown, I dunno.

    The city was called K'neye, as best as anyone knew.

    After the Big Mistake, it had broken into a


    number of warring tribes. Jaereth Alher was traveling through the temperate-rainforest ruins of the
    city, and came upon a building. A large number of enormous mushrooms grew around the
    outside. Parts of the wals were caved in. Jaereth, being an explorer, would have entered it
    against his better judgement; but he didn't have any better judgement anyway. He drew his
    katana and went in.
