INTERVIEW 5- RESIDENT

How long did you stay here in the shelter? When you first came in this shelter, what can you say about
the interior design?
I already stay here for one year. When I first came here, the brothers welcome us wholeheartedly and
gave the best effort that they can do. With the interior design, it easily attracts my eyes. Unlike when we
are in the street, when there is a typhoon we dont know were going to stay.
Do you have any favorite spot in this shelter? Why?
For me, the favorite spot that makes me comfortable is the chapel. Before, to be honest Im a sinful
person. So this is the best way to connect myself with God. Naniniwala din ako na walang imposible,
kapag mataas na ang mananampalataya sa Diyos.
What do you think is the best thing regarding the interior design of the shelter?
For me, all things use in the design is beautiful. Unlike when we are in the street, wala kaming
permananteng liguan, banyo, kusina at iba pa. Para sa akin were so lucky because yung comfort room
may shower tapos may bath tub pa.
As a resident of this shelter, what are the improvements you can suggest in the lobby area?
For me, theres nothing to improve in this shelter dahil kung baga, all in na ang mga kagamitan dito. I
just wish that marami pang donors and benefactors ang shelter na ito for it will help not only me but
also lot of people in this place. Siguro, ayusin pa dapat yung pintuan kasi base from my observation,
hindi sya ganun ka safe dahil may kawang sya.
What are the improvements you can suggest in the bedroom?
The designs in the bedroom are beautiful enough. Maganda naman yung mga facilities. Siguro kailangan
nga lang ng Laysol dahil mabaho talaga yung amoy minsan. Kapag may donor ng urocan siguro mas
lalong sasaya ang mga tatay na kasama ko.
What are the improvements you can suggest in your chapel?
I think kailangan maganda talaga yung design nung chapel para maenganyong magsimba ang mga
matatanda. Yung salamin ng window, dapat siguro ayusin pa at imaintain ang cleanliness.
