The selfishness of Russia
Propaganda could be used in everything for example campaign or products
etc. There are a lot of different types of propaganda techniques like glittering
generalities, either or thinking, etc. The word propaganda sometimes can be bad but it
also could be good. For example the advertisement that was made by Nike they use a
lot of propaganda techniques, which doesnt create bad opinion from the viewers. But
how about when propaganda was used to threaten the other country for example
Russia. Russia creates a propaganda poster to threaten the other country, which is
Ukraine. The president of Russia, Vladimir Putin made the poster. The propaganda
that was directed to Ukraine and it uses bandwagon, glittering generalities and either
or thinking.
Bandwagon was used in this conflict. Bandwagon is making an impression
that if people dont use this product they will be left out. In the propaganda poster it
doesnt actually show that it uses bandwagon but then the phrase I want Ukraine and
you cant stop me make an impression that if you dont agree with his idea you will
be left out by the society, and there will be no choice because the government
(president) still will do it anyway. Even though Russia never admitted that they have a
conflict between each other still Ukraine feels under pressure. Russias declared that
they have murky war against Ukraine. It had no official start and no formal end. Par.

Ukraine. It makes Ukraine feels threaten even though they believe that this problem

could be solved. Ukraine doesnt feel like they are defeated even though there are
some feelings that they will lose. So, basically the president of Russia dont admit that
they have a conflict with Ukraine to the world but then the poster tells the citizen and
the government of Ukraine that Russia is attacking them by taking there territory
away. And also the poster is telling something to the citizen of Russia that if you
dont agree in this then you will left out in this point not left out because the president
of Russia will do it anyway the poster is only telling the citizen that they have a
conflict with Ukraine.
The other propaganda that was used is glittering generalities. Glittering
generalities is basically when you have a product and in the end of the advertisement
they usually have this little statement for example Nike just do it In the poster that
was there are a general statement that was in the bottom of the drawing. I want
Ukraine and you cant stop me that is the statement that the president of Ukraine
write on the poster. After six months of fighting, Ukraine has lost at least 3,000 men
and control over a swathe of territory in the east, as well as being forced by Russia to
delay the full implementation of its association agreement with the European Union.
(Par. 2) Even though Ukraine has lost a lot of territory and also the men that control
everything. Ukraine still stays strong and still thinks that they are not defeated. They
know they lost a lot of land on their country but the government still thinks optimist.
So basically the glittering generalities used by the Russian government to threaten
Ukraine. Ukraine has a lot of territory in their country but still believe that they are no
defeated yet. The propaganda that was made doesnt make the Ukraine feel scared
because they believe
The last propaganda that was used is in the poster is either or thinking. Either
or thinking is basically making people think that there are no two possible choices.

The statement that was written I want Ukraine and you cant stop me makes the
impression that either people support or not at all. Based on research the government
of Russia didnt care about the citizen opinion. But on the other hand still the Ukraine
still believe that they can do it Ukraine is not dead yet par.3. I think that Ukraine
really did a good job in believing in their country. The propaganda either or thinking
does connect to my thesis because it is true that the propaganda that was made it
creates an impression that either you follow or not.
In conclusion, all the propaganda that was used by the president of Russia
does threaten Ukraine. As I said before propaganda can always be neither good nor
bad. But we all know that are so many bad propaganda out there that was used to
offend other product or even country. Like Russia and Ukraine, Russia keeps on
taking Ukraines territory but Ukraine still believe that they can overcome their
problem. Propaganda that was used like glittering generalities, either or thinking, and
bandwagon is just an example that I choose there are actually some propaganda that
was in the poster but I chose that three because I think its interesting to talk about.
